Every year, community centres across Vaughan host fundraising events in support of RecAssist. Taken from the City of Vaughan's website, "RecAssist is a fee assistance that subsidizes the cost of recreation and culture programs for low income individuals and families in Vaughan."

The 2017 RecAssist Event was a Glow-in-the-dark Spinathon. Collateral created for the event consisted of:
